The Norman language

The love of a language does no withdrawal or exclusion. It is no secret that we jealously guard. Love is a game, sharing, openness to others and is the nest where it takes off to explore the world. The love of a language does is not exclusive, it is ... contagion.
Language is the gift, the binder, speech and gesture: communion and understanding.
Love is not explained, it's just "feel good".
I love Norman that vibrates in me like a childhood memory, like the wind and the sea, vast and elusive like the look of an old rascal to his old.
I love Norman by his silence and his modesty, his pace slow and ferocious expressions. Like the Norman

but do not talk. I do not write it either. Curious paradox.
I listen to the background of my memories and rekindles so it does not fall asleep in the cold of my soul.
To do this, here are some places where to anchor:

Magen is the exceptional site, "the Academy" living in the Norman language. The place is rich, almost exhaustive, purified of all controversial topics. A shop sells their records (they are also singers and musicians) and books in Norman. Their culture pages are references to many authors of language Norman and suggest ways to find books too often invisible. Useful and enjoyable.

The Pitch Waves is a library that has a huge selection of books and journals on Normandy. Specializing in Normandy and history, she has a beautiful range dedicated to the navy and travel.

The Loure done a remarkable job of gathering with seniors, memories and songs, exchange and transmission, it makes us share in his productions.

There are also libraries, archives, libraries of old books and garage sales ... but most importantly, is to talk together, to reach out and watch the sea
